Diego has owned and operated Baja Blue Diver since 2011 and operated since 2005.
In addition to his B. A. in Oceanography , Diego leads by example with his Certificates in PADI, as well Ocean Lifeguard and prehospital resuscitation certification. Kawsay has a B. A. in Oceanography, she was certified for diving in 2005 at the age of 18 with CMAS and FMAS, and at the age of 21 with  NAUI, and in 2017 became a PADI Rescue Diver.
She has since logged an extensive amount of dives in areas including: the coast of Caribbean Sea and Cozumel, Veracruz in the Gulf of Mexico, Puerto Vallarta ,Islas Marietta’s, Zihuatanejo and Acapulco in the Pacific Ocean of central Mexico and Baja California in the sea of Cortez and in the Pacific Ocean.

 

Keoni Graefkeoni

He was born in 1988, he’s an Oceanographer and in recent years he has been dedicating his life into diving. He became a Dive Master recently, but he has been diving since he was 15.
He’s Hawaiian born, his mother is from Austria and his father is Mexican, he dominates English and Spanish language 100% and currently learning French.
He has worked mostly on Aquaculture companies, such as tuna cages, mussels and oysters farms. He also works part time, for a scientific center; his activities include scientific cruises and data collecting all over Mexico.
His passion is the sea and how the sea is functions in a physical level, as well as deep diving.

 

Anahi Bermudezanahi

Anahi studied Oceanography in the UABC (Autonomous University of Baja California) with a special interest in Marine Biology, Ecology and Physical processes. In 2017 she finished her master degree in Marine Egology in the CICESE (Center for Scientific Research and Higher Education of Ensenada) with a research about phytoplancton and the importance of coastal nutrients in the ocean. She enjoys diving in the kelp forest and study the species associated in this enviroment. She’s been diving for about five years in both touristic and research purpose to share her knowledge with every person interested in the ocean and the animals living in it.

I joined Baja Blue Diver team in 2015. As daughter of a Diver- fisherman, I inherited the passion for de ocean. I studied aquaculture at UABC university, and I have been freediving and scuba diving since 2011, I am currently an advanced open water Diver from ANDI agency. I also love surfing and I’ve been practicing it since 2004. And like a year ago I joined the spearfishing world, being able to catch what I eat.

I have served and worked in some scientific dive projects with the IIO (instituto de investigaciones Oceanológicas) team, and CICESE (Centro de Investigación Científica y de Educación Superior de Ensenada).

As a hobbie, I like to go scuba diving with the groups of new divers at the school where I learned to dive, it allows me to keep learning and I like helping others to enjoy the ocean.

Jorge joined the team of Baja Blue Diver since 2012, he is oceanographer and at the university he discovered his passion for scientific and recreational diving, Jorge dominates the English language 100%, He was born in Ensenada and loves to show out different attractions of the city providing a friendly service to all our customers. Jorge specializes in the area of ​​physical oceanography where he also worked as a scientific diver for  an Oceanographic Institute (Instituto de Investigaciones Oceanologicas). His hobbies are surfing and skateboarding. 

 

Jonathan Lopezunnamed

He is part of the Baja Blue Diver team since 2013,  He was born in Ensenada and loves to show the city and its different attractions, providing a friendly service to all our customers, he has over 4 years experience in snorkeling and kayaking. Jonathan loves to fish from the kayak and the shore. He is a photography and video editor. Jonathan is also a dance “Poppin Reef” teacher in Ensenada.

Humberto has a B. A.  in Oceanography and a degree in Environmental Management and is currently doing a Master in Environmental Geoscience at the Center of Scientific Research and Higher Education of Ensenada ‘CICESE’. Since childhood he liked to swim, then he changed the fresh wáter to salt wáter and began to surf. He took courses of free diving, Open Wáter and Advanced Open wáter in the University  ‘UABC’ , he has a Ocean Lifeguard and prehospital resuscitation certification of  the Oceanographic Institute (Instituto de Investigaciones Oceanológicas).
